Offshore Surf Tours provides a hassle free tour of Victoria's beaches. With a maximum group number of just 14 people and a pick up available from Melbourne. All you have to worry about is getting a new obsession to SURFING!

Director Alistair Lawson
Alistair has been surfing for over 14 years and has surfed all over the World in places like the UK, France, Spain, Indonesia, Fiji, Samoa and all around the Australian coast line.

“Surfing is an amazing sport that combines the beauty of nature with a shot of adrenalin.  Offshore Surf Tours allows me to give an introduction into this world through the eyes of a surfer.  We go in search of the perfect learner waves from our many licenced beaches and we try and stay away from crowds and other surfers.

This way you get to experience surfing the way it should be.  We aim to personally improve the surf skills of each of our customers and this is best achieved in a small group over a longer period of time than two hours.  We could run more lessons with large group sizes - but that is not what we are about."

Operations Manager Rachel Lawson

Growing up next door to the surfing capital of England, Rachel started surfing at an early age and has enjoyed the surfing lifestyle ever since.

With a strong background in management and customer service, Rachel runs the operational side of this company and enjoys talking to new customers about their next tour package.

At Offshore Surf Tours we pride ourselves on offering a quality product to all our customers. We feel that the level of service we provide and the attention to detail in our programs is second to none. We at Offshore Surf Tours are all extremely enthusiastic surfers ourselves and we thoroughly enjoy sharing our passion with others.

 

Qualifications
All our surf instructors have years of surfing experience and all have the following qualifications as our minimum standard:

  • Surfing Australia registered
  • Surf Coaching level 1 (minimum)
  • Surf lifesaving qualified - renewed annually
  • First Aid level 2

Permits
We are proud to be registered with Parks Victoria as permit number PV1787 and also through the Great Ocean Road Coast Committee. The beaches we are registered to use give us the best opportunity to surf the best waves on offer in a number of different conditions. They also have the opportunity to have both beginner and more advanced waves at the same location.

Offshore Surf Tours has been officially accredited by the Better Business Tourism Accreditation Program after meeting a range of standards such as professional customer service, accuracy in advertising, compliance with health and safety standards, and sound environmental practices.
